Gorontalo is the 32 Province in Indonesia,before it is one of the regency in North Sulawesi Province, Gorontalo was split off from North Sulawesi and become outonomy areas, with the constitution number 38 in 22 December 2000. .

Gorontalo Province is on the island of  North Sulawesi or Northwest Sulawesi,with area of Gorontalo Province is about 12,215 km² with the total population about 887,000 people.(2004)
